Does portability allow me to break my current contract?
No, you are still required to honor the full terms of your current contract.
Although the FCC ruled carriers cannot prevent you from switching, you are responsible for any contractual obligations. Call us as soon as your contract is up and we will facilitate the switch.

Do I have to cancel my service with my old carrier first?
No — don't do this or you may lose your number and be unable to get it back! Sign up with us first.
Losing your number can happen because a carrier’s computer may reassign your old number as soon as it is cancelled. Just tell us that you want to transfer your old number and we will take care of everything, avoiding this problem.
